Spring 2015 Inhouse Program Information

Our spring soccer in-house season is scheduled to begin April 11th* and end on June 13th

* Field conditions may force us to delay the start of our season.  We will contact registered players, by email, if fields are not playable on April 11th announcing a new start date.

All sessions are held on Saturday mornings at Northford Park, RT 17

U10 - Seniors: 9:30 – 10:45

U8 - Juniors: 10:45 – 11:45

U6 - Little Kicks: 11: 45 – 12:30

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session on April 11th to pick up your uniform, if one was ordered.  Returning fall players, who did not order a new uniform for the spring season, will wear their previous issued uniform.

All players are required to wear shin guards and cleats and have their own soccer ball.  They can be purchased in a bundle at your local sporting goods (Dicks or Sports Authority) store.  Each child should also have a water bottle or sports drink for each session.

U6(Little Kicks) & U8 (Juniors) Size 3

U10 (Seniors) Size 4

U10 (Seniors) players will be contacted by Coach Al Johnson with the additional practice and, for travel team players, game schedule.

We are looking for a number of U8 (Juniors) parent volunteers to run a mid-week “game” session.  Players will be divided up and participate in mock games.  This will be a good opportunity for them to take the skills practiced on Saturday and learn the structure of a game.  If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Rhonda Yeager, In-house Coordinator (rhondayeager15@gmail.com)or John Heine, Vice President (john.heine@yale.edu).

The North Branford Soccer Club is a volunteer run organization.  As our board members’ children get older and age out of the club, we are faced with a shortage of help.  There are positions open with varying levels of involvement and only meet once a month.  Review the Volunteers page on the website and please consider joining.
